The KElsey Harris Writing Scholarship
Scholarship Requirements:
*Must be a US resident
*High School Senior graduating in Spring 2013
*Must be pursuing a career in writing
*Essay, 500-750 words, answering “Why is life more interesting when you’re happy?”
*Application due no later than March 25, 2013

Award Specifications:
*One time $1000 award, renewal in further years subject to KWH Board approval
*Winner will be notified by mail by April 20, 2013
*Winner will be announced on this website
*Winning essay will be posted on this website
*Award will be sent directly to college or university in the winner’s name
